Campo Aventura’s MOUNTAINSIDE LODGE is nestled amid the towering granite peaks of La Junta, about 20 kms upstream in the Cochamó River Valley. It can be reached only on horseback or on foot, along the centuries-old Cochamó Trail, that passes through lush rainforest. This traditional farmhouse offers a welcoming family feel – and countless opportunities to hike, ride, climbe, swim, fish, and revel in nature.
At our Mountainside Lodge, you wake up to unforgettable views each day – and experience the simple and authentic lifestyle of a bygone era.
The rustic outback accommodation has two bathrooms, with hot showers; two double rooms; and one family/dorm room, for up to 8 people. Bed linen, pillows, and towels are supplied.
Meals are prepared on a wood-burning stove, and eaten communal style with hosts, guides, and other guests around the kitchen table – or on the patio. A highlight is the outdoor ‘asado’ – and picnic lunches are provided to all guests wanting to take a day hike.

Our traditional, local-wood cabins and buildings blend with the tranquil riverside setting. You can sit by our river beach, watching kingfishers and the towering Andes in the distance. At Riverside Lodge, we have available: 3 adjoining cabana rooms with private bath – that can take up to 3 persons each (1 in a loft bed). 1 ‘casita’ – with two rooms and a bath, that can take 5 passengers comfortably (1 in a loft bed). For additional passengers, we have acces to a neighbouring casa with 4 double/triple rooms, and shared bath; as well as a 3-person stand-alone cabana. These buildings are approximately 75 meters from our main lodge & restaurant – and gusts take all meals at our premises.

Island Las Bandurrias has a woodland path following the shore, small private beaches and two charming cabañas. Guests stay in a cozy and well-equipped 2-story cottage heated by firewood, with capacity for 6 persons.
The main house is surrounded by a garden covered by a variety of flowers where birds come to nest, one of Francoise’s prides. It is a very cozy and warm place where we'll share meals and pre-dinner drinks with Francoise Dutheil, our island host.

We are proud to offer you a unique and privileged experience, where you can rest, open up your senses, play and enjoy different settings, listen to native birds chatting in the forest canopy, smell the fragrant aromas of our native forests, take walks on specially designed trails, or enjoy a star filled sky while relaxing in our cedar hot tubs! Each dome has a wood burning stove, wooden floors and a light weight metal structure covered by waterproof canvas, which will allow you to feel the forest around you fully. Resting in the middle of a forest is an experience in itself. Thanks to our domes, our exquisite gastronomic offer, and our enthusiastic team, committed to serving our guests in the best way possible, the experience will be unforgettable!!!
