La Comarca Puelo Adventure |
We have been putting together adventure tourism excursions since 2005. Our first tours were in response to the growing interest in the Río Puelo and Cochamó areas. Currently La Comarca, in addition to being an adventure tourism operator, also develops bicycle tours throughout the Patagonia as well as areas in the Central Valley area of Chile. The Wine Route in Chile’s Central Valley and the Atacama Desert tour, which starts off in Antofagasta and ends on Argentina’s border are two of our recently developed programs. All programs, which contemplate anywhere from a half-day to a 15-day itinerary, incorporate the company’s fundamentals of high quality service, high-end gear and bicycles as well as the security of our clients. We have strong working links with our adventure tourism providers in order to meet the needs of the exploding interest in Puerto Varas and the Cochamó county. After every season we renew our bicycles in order to incorporate newer models and assure the highest levels of experience for every season’s clients.

We first started exploring the breath-taking and remote corners of the Patagonia in 2005. Pristine nature, locals, and rarely visited, visually impacting landscape are elements in the Cochamó county that inspire our low impact as well as exclusively small group tours. We offer trekking supported by pack horses, sea kayaking and horseback tours throughout the area and along the border rivers of Rio Manso and Rio Puelo. We also provide adventures in Petrohue, Pumalin Norte and Torres de Paine. Our experienced guides, high-end gear, focus on exceptional service and security are integrated in every one of our adventures.

Opentravel has been developing sustainable tourism in the Rio Puelo Valley since 1997. Our the international border crossings of Chile into Argentina’s border city El Bolson set the stage for our trekking and horseback tours. Our adventures integrate lodging at local homes in Isla Las Bandurrias and Campo La Colina. We work side by side with local cow hands in incorporating our own as well as the local horses in our tours. We integrate third party services such as airport shuttle service, hotel accommodation, small plane shuttle services as well as incorporate other local tour operators’ products to expand our client’s options.

Campo Aventura |

Since its beginning in 1993 Campo Aventura has been delivering quality horseback tours of the Cochamó Valley. With the incorporation of Campo Aventura Ltd. in the year 2000 the company has expanded its offer of tours by incorporating other types of sustainable, ecologically oriented outdoor activities. Among our principle objectives is the integration of the maximum possible number of local persons in our activities in order to leave the highest local economic impact possible. We also work in conjunction with other tour operators.
